Waveguard Warranty

This warranty is provided by Nuki USA (“Waveguard”) and covers Qi devices, including the Qi-Me, Qi-Shield, Qi-Shield Pro, Qi-Home, and Qi-Max, for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date by the customer. This warranty is effective through the duration of Nuki USA’s ownership of Waveguard Intellectual Property.

Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers defects or malfunctions that arise due to manufacturing or material defects, which are:

  • Wood separating from copper: Instances where the wood separates from the copper tubing so much that you can visibly see inside of the copper tubing.
  • Cracking of wood: Instances where a wooden cap splits or cracks in a way that affects the functionality of the device.
  • Loose vials or crystal: A vial or crystal that becomes detached or unsecured inside the copper tubing. This does not include broken or shattered vials due to improper use or handling of the product (ex: dropping the device).
  • Leaking vials: The vials are intact and in place in the device, but the Qi solution is leaking out of the vials or the device.
  • For Home and Max: Feet are missing, or the feet screws are stripped, preventing the feet from being removed or replaced.

Exclusions
  • This warranty does not cover:
  • Damage caused by shipping.
  • Damage caused by customer and/or reseller misuse, mishandling, or accidents.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or tampering with the device.
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage not affecting functionality.
  • Devices that have been opened and/or disassembled by customers.

Warranty Claim Process
Customers who have an issue with their device which they believe to be covered by this warranty may contact Waveguard Support to begin a claim. In order to be considered for the warranty repair, all claims must include:
  • Proof of the original purchase date by the customer.
  • Product information such as product type and batch/serial number.
  • A detailed description of the issue, including photo and/or video evidence.
  • All communication concerning the claimed defect (customer must confirm in writing that the device was not dropped).
  • Confirmation that the defect is not shipping- or customer-caused.

Repair Costs for Non-Warranty Issues
For devices that are outside the warranty period or have defects that are excluded from this warranty, Waveguard offers repair services starting at the following prices, depending on the damage:
Qi-Me: $50
Qi-Shield: $100
Qi-Shield Pro: $100
Qi-Home: $500
Qi-Max: $600

Additional Terms
  • The customer is responsible for shipping the defective device(s) to Waveguard.
  • If a claim is deemed not to fall under warranty coverage after evaluation, the customer will be notified and given the option for paid repairs, or return of the device as-is.
  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer.
  • By purchasing Waveguard’s Qi devices, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this warranty.
