Waveguard Recharge Policy

This policy allows any customer who has purchased a Qi EMF protection device directly from Waveguard or any of its distributors from any time to send in their used Qi devices for a recharging service.

3. Ship the device to us
4. We recharge your device
5. We ship your device back to you for you to enjoy your EMF protection once again!

Full Policy Breakdown

1. Provide proof of original purchase
Email support@waveguard.com with your proof of purchase of the Qi device you wish to have recharged. You can do so by forwarding an email receipt, sending us an image of the charge from your bank, or simply providing the order number if you purchased directly from Waveguard. At least 1 year must have passed between the date of purchase and the recharge request date.
2. Pay the recharge fee
We will reply to your email asking for your shipping and billing address, and will then send you an invoice with the correct fee for the recharge of your device. The recharge fees are as follows for the three rechargeable Qi devices:
  • Qi Shield: $375
  • Qi Home: $1,295
  • Qi Max: $2,095
3. Ship the device to us
Once the invoice has been paid, we send you an RMA# (Return Material Authorization) as well as the instructions on how to ship it back to us. Please note we cannot accept recharges without an RMA# as it helps us identify whom the device belongs to. Each device will need its own RMA# even if you ship them together. You will be responsible for the shipping charges to get the device to us*, and we will cover the shipping to get it back to you! Because these devices are used, we do not expect them to be perfect, however some damages may constitute the need for additional fees if the item needs reconstruction in addition to the recharge. Some examples of damages that would constitute an extra fee are:
  • Severe dents or cracks in the copper and/ or wood that deform the shape of the device
  • Broken or missing parts of the device
If there are any damages that constitute additional fees, we will contact you about those prior to recharging the device. A preliminary inspection can be done by sending video of the device to support@waveguard.com before shipping it to us, however until it is in our warehouse we cannot guarantee whether an additional charge would be necessary.
4. We recharge your device
Once we receive your product and confirm it is in good condition to recharge, the device is recharged by our Recharge Team experts who manufacture and repair these devices with care. Once the recharge process is complete, the device has a new lifespan of 5 years for the Qi Shield and 8 years for the Qi Home and Qi Max!
5. We ship your device back to you for you to enjoy your EMF protection once again!
We cover the shipping costs and pack your device extremely carefully to get your recharged device back to you in one piece so you can once again have the benefits of EMF Protection in your home! We pay to insure the package so that any damages that might happen on the shipping journey will be covered.
*Please safely and securely package your product. We highly recommend insuring the package for at least half of what you paid so that in cases of shipping damage, you can be compensated for that. We also suggest taking pictures of your device beforehand in case there are any damages caused during shipping to provide to your shipping carrier for proof in case of insurance claims.
Terms & Conditions
By submitting a device for recharge, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy. Waveguard reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. It is the customer's responsibility to review the terms and conditions before purchasing their recharge service. Refunds: All recharge fees are non-refundable, including cases where additional fees for repairs or damages are required. Customers are advised to ensure their devices meet the recharge eligibility criteria before paying the fee. Warranty: Recharged devices are covered by a 1-year craftsman warranty which includes repair services such as caulking or minor structural adjustments if needed. The warranty does not cover new damage caused by misuse, neglect, shipping damage, or improper handling. If warranty work is needed, please email support@waveguard.com with photo and/or video evidence of the defect. Shipping costs will be paid in the same way as the recharge; the customer is responsible to ship it to Waveguard for the warranty repair, and Waveguard will cover shipping to get it back to the customer. The warranty period begins on the day the device is shipped back to you after the recharge process is complete. Whether or not a defect is covered under warranty is at the full discretion of Waveguard. Liability: Waveguard is not responsible for damages caused in transit or from inadequate packaging.
